The Last Waltz Remembered

In celebration of the 45th anniversary of one of the most important rock and roll concerts in music history, The Last Waltz, Annerin Productions has produced a recreation of the night calling it The Last Waltz Remembered.  The first iteration of the production re-captured the magic of The Band's farewell concert with home-grown Alberta talent including Russell Broom as Musical Director and starring Jimmy Rankin, Barney and Dustin Bentall, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald and Colin Linden (who played with The Band). 

 

The aim of the re-production is to put together alternating all-star lineups who will tackle the biggest songs from that fateful night in 1976 like Helpless, The Weight, Caravan, Forever Young, Up on Cripple Creek, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down and I Shall be Released while paying homage to the artists that created them.
