Our History
Global entertainment. Independent roots.
Founded in Calgary, Canada in 1980 by Jeff Parry, the company began as Jeff Parry Promotions—a scrappy, music-focused promoting business built on one simple idea: create live experiences worth remembering. What started with local concerts quickly expanded into national touring, artist management, and a full-service entertainment operation. Jeff’s instinct for bold, unconventional opportunities led to collaborations with Canadian icons like Barenaked Ladies, Great Big Sea, and Rita MacNeil, and later with global stars including Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, and Snoop Dogg.
As the scale and ambition grew, Jeff formalized the next chapter: Annerin Productions. This evolution marked a shift toward large-scale, story-driven shows built around the world’s most beloved music catalogues. Productions celebrating the music of Queen, Pink Floyd, ABBA, and others have since toured in more than 30 countries, selling over 20 million tickets and cementing Annerin’s reputation for creative, adaptable entertainment with global reach.
That same appetite for innovation led Annerin into immersive experiences. With Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, Annerin stepped into a new frontier—where technology, storytelling, and visual art converge. More than 300 of Van Gogh’s works were brought into vast 30,000-square-foot environments with custom scores and 360-degree projection. The result: a worldwide phenomenon spanning 10 countries and generating over US $350 million in ticket sales.
Today, Annerin remains independent, curious, and driven by the same creative spirit that sparked its beginnings. With offices in Canada and the UK, Annerin continues to develop theatre shows, concerts, large-scale touring productions, immersive exhibitions, and new forms of entertainment—all designed to stay with audiences long after the lights go down.
